You usually have to have a full service broker that subscribes to research by the covering analysts. If the brokerage firm subscribes, they can usually pinhole the analyst and get a look at the "whispers." In the case of SPCT, Zacks stuff was high .30's and "whispers" were high .40's. "Whispers" are what justified this sucker screaming up to 50. If they would have just "made" the whispers it would be in the mid 30's probably.
