I still can't get it edited....but I did something crazy....I hope I don't regret it.
I sent out a bunch of letters and emails to agents and of course all of them rejected my book. Out of the blue one agent wrote back to me and asked me to send it to him to read. It blew my mind...this agent is on the "A" list at litterary.org and I did some reasearch on him...he has some very big clients and as far as I can tell he is one of the top dawgs in the business.

Well anyway, I said what the hell and sent him my book as is. I have done a rewrite but I am sure there are some grammar mistakes in it.

Wish me luck, I figure I got nothing to lose.
I have an offer to get it published but I have to get it edited before hand (this publisher does not pay for editing) so I am using it as a last resort. Still they would be a good publisher for someone like me who hasn't been published before. I figure though, before I go to them I am going to play the "lottery game" and see if I can get a bite. It doesn't happen often but there are cases where an unknown author gets published and if you have the right agent they can get you a good signing bonus.

wish me luck....I need all I can get....LOL
