terry, I like nuclear power although I have no stake in the industry personally. LNG will be a good industry over the next 20 years, especially if you have followed the evolution of fuels since the advent of the industrial revolution in early 1800's.

The world has relentlessly moved from high carbon/low btu fuels toward low carbon/higher btu fuels. That means LNG will slowly replace oil in as many uses as is possible except for lubes and ethylenes base stocks.

The PRC of course has already announced that it intends to double its use of natural gas from 5 to 10% of its total energy base. They have announced three major LNG terminal to be developed.

So I agree- China will become a major competitor for LNG loads over the next ten years as they transition from low btu/high carbon to high btu/low carbon fuels.

Re aircraft carriers- They would be tough to approach while on a mission anyway....
