Why would they need to subpeona Island on their market rebate practices? They are available on their website. You take liquidity (hit a bid or offer), you pay them. You add liquidity (don't hit a bid or offer, but leave an order on their book), they pay you, though not as much as you pay them to take liquidity. The rates are published. Is the SEC claiming that there are secret deals at non-published rates or some-such?
