Who do you think you're fooling, Hodgkins? You LIVE for the attention your notoriety generates. You can't live without it. And the same applies to X.

You know, if you two REALLY wanted to keep the thread from erupting, you would:
Stop making provocative comments about past events
If you must do so, stick to the truth.
And if someone else sticks in a provocative comment, simply ignore it. Act like it's not there. It's hard to have a fight with someone who won't fight back.

On that 2nd point, I got into this because you were once again trying to imply that your handle on IH is not Northwesterner. Had you not done that, I would have stayed clear. I don't like this thread, I don't like several (not all) of the people in it, and I generally stay clear. I unbookmarked it months ago.

None of them has made a single positive post here, none of them has participated in any constructive way in any of the interesting discussions that were going on.
Well, it appears "positve" and "constructive" are in the eyes of the beholder. Some hold that supporting the truth is just that.

It's really quite sad that people feel the need to destroy what they can't enjoy.
Don't cry too much for us. MH is doing fine. And SMBR was also until I shut it down. We'll live. We appreciate your concern, though.

That's what the hate crowd here on SI is like.
There seems to be a disagreement about just who those people are.

And I see that once again you are too stubborn and too proud to issue apologies. They can't change the past. But they are an indication to the offended party that the offender understands that they did wrong. And (this is the really important point) they will attempt not to repeat their mistake.

There were a couple of people I left off the list of offendees: JLA and Bill. You stood by and let them defend you against those "minister" charges- -ALL THE TIME KNOWING THE CHARGES WERE TRUE! You could have at least PMed them and told them to drop it. They were your buddies at the time and you buddyf**ked them. I don't blame them one bit for being angry. In their situation I would be livid.

I apologized to X yesterday for a post in rather poor taste. Her interpretation of it was a fair interpretation. After I realized that, I deleted it. I'm not perfect, Chris.

But neither are you.
