I remember reading once that with natural gas around 6.35$ LPG becomes cost competitive.
Re aircraft carriers Patrick Robinson has a book "Sea wolf"(?) about such an attack by Iraq.It involves a russian made deisle sub waiting very passively in ambush with a nuke.
PS imagine what a Lgp Transport ship or storage tank hit by a plane,missle or incendiary bomb might do.Studies have been done about it.
