while i agree with you that there are "terrorists" of other stripes.. i'm hard pressed to think of any that profess jihad or war against the west as a matter of religious principle. you may situations occur with for example a greenpeace activist who staging a protest could cause the death (inadvertently) of sailors while they try to inhibit their actions....but i don't really consider them to be terrorists in the true sense of the word...they have an agenda and they resort to physically imposing that agenda.... but yes...you are correct....there are other terrorists groups fomenting hatred and committing crimes against the west.... but none pose the clear and present danger of islamic extremists that make up al quada .
