there is no ignore function in 3d

LOL. Well, if I'd been whispering spookily into the mail slot on your front door, you might have a point. However....

X. FYI:

Email has an Ignore function that works like SI's does, except on SI everyone sees the vicious slanders and you can't see the threats being issued against you if you put a persecutor on Ignore. I can tell you that if I were being threatened, I wouldn't put the threatener on Ignore. A slanderer, either.

Here's how you use Ignore on Outlook Express. To find Ignore on your email program, click Help and search for "block." I'm surprised cosmic doesn't know about Email blocking. Will cosmic be showing up here soon btw?

To block messages from a sender or domain
You can block messages from a particular sender or domain. The domain is the name following the @ symbol in an e-mail address.

When you block a sender or domain, no e-mail or news message from that sender or domain will arrive in your Inbox or in the news messages you read. E-mail from blocked senders goes directly into your Delete folder. Newsgroup messages from blocked senders are not displayed.

From your e-mail Inbox or the list of messages in a newsgroup, select a message from a sender you want to block.

On the Message menu, click Block Sender.

See, you could have just done that instead of threatening to sue me, or (you explain after the fact) threatening something else that only looked like that. FIRST NOTICE. SECOND NOTICE.

Edit: Unlike on SI, there is software (or your email program may have it) that will return the sender's email. Just fyi. Too bad they don't have that on SI. A message telling the sender their PM has been ignored.
