A CSCO manager said in the IBD interview that he does not see the merger "going as smoothly as it could be". It's a joke to think that he could assess the merger so soon, and from such a distance. Further, CSCO's attempt at such a large merger (Stratacom) was executed rather poorly, and thus brings into question his knowledge of how smooth a merger "could be". The article made quite clear that CSCO is gunning for ASND. As CSCO focuses on ASND, it could be overlooking an attack on its core area by BAY.
