My point is that emails and posts on SI are not different insofar as having an Ignore function is concerned.

My position was also that three non-threatening, merely annoying emails is better than countless slanderous, sexual, threatening, tormenting posts on public forums, especially when the tormentor has made clear he could find you if he wanted to.

X's position was that because SI has an Ignore feature and email doesn't, the three non-threatening emails from me were terrible, deserving of her threatening response, whereas your "bombarding" of Poet with public posts was your right, not scary, kiss kiss.

Sheesh.
