well of course.... but you're comparing those to the events of 9/11???? you don't see that date as a seminal moment? i certainly do... yes there are plenty of fanatical, hate mongering groups... what does that have to do with the fact that jihad is a reality? and we are now forced to cope with it? (btw...i'm not arguing that the snipers were a part of any systematic attempt at terrorism, only that his religious conversion probably played a part in motivating his acts)
