You know, even if there ARE programs, it still is weird and scary to think it is ok to take it off SI against the wishes of someone else. I get the feeling you just don't get that. I think it is important to maintain a separation.

And I'm glad if CH has changed his mind about that post. He was wrong the first time (imo). I like his more liberal interpretation- assuming that person is him. I honestly don't know. I've not researched it the way you have.
