Thanks dude!

Wifey is doing great.

Today she surprised me.

When I got there this morning, she was sitting across the
room in a comfy chair with the baby.

When I asked how she got there, she showed me.
She picked herself up and walked.

I nearly fell over.

No more tubes stuck in her arm.

The nurses were amazed at her fast recovery.
Wifey knows not to do too much, too fast.

The doctors have told her it's good to be able to get up.
It helps remove the trapped gases (air) from the surgery.

They also have doing some breathing exercises that helps to
see if she is getting pneumonia or whatever.

I played Mr. Mom today and took the boys food shopping
after finishing the laundry.
While walking the aisles, I said to myself, "If I was a 5
or 6 year old, what would I want my father to cook for dinner?"

Tonight we had Chef Boyardee Raviolies with Corndogs and popcorn.

I bought a box of Twinkies for breakfast tomorrow.

I figured I'd let them have anything they normally are not allowed to have when mom is cooking.

Fruit Loops and chocolate chips mixed in the pancakes were also a hit with them the other day.

They are convinced that I am nuts.
They know for sure that there is nothing nutritional about the stuff I'm giving them.

I think they are looking forward to Mommy's cooked vegetables and other healthy stuff by now.
