GC I disagree on a few things.
"mm can't borrow your shares for shorting" An MM don't have to borrow, part of his job in making a market is going short.
IMO an MM's goal in general, in his own account, is to be flat at the end of each day, just like a daytrader...and hopefully up on $$ that day.
I don't know for sure about any groups, could be though, but I do know individuals that have shorted MYNG, maybe still short or maybe will be again.
Of course there is shorting, that's easy to see just watching L2 during the day...but there is also covering too.
You really think guys like JEFF VIEW PILL PUGS HILL and a bunch of others are filling retail orders from guys like TD, Royal Bank, Eturd etc etc?
Maybe I'm just a chickenshit, but the first sign of selling, be it shorts or whomever, I'm gonzo.
Why fight it, take the profits, get back in again lower if ya want, or if you're so inclined on pennies...join them.
Eric...LOL now that's a whole other story, but at least he's a heck of a lot more entertaining, than say a repetitive pumper like Annie. |
