This is not yet a failed rally. Each day the market is balanced between good news and bad expectations. The threat of war has retreated a bit and the sniper attacks are over. It is harder to predict major good news, like snow for the holidays, or lesser unemployment, while easy to dwell on bad news about corporate Executives which the Press loves to discuss.Marsha, are you there?? Nobody is able to state any good reasons for Nov, Dec, to be much better than Sept, Oct, but they are if only due to expectations they will be. One day Carla will be able to say" Well, you cant make a diamond out of two lemons" Sig (I left out one item, a possible Republican landslide- too controvertial sp.?)
