I am sure that if the sanctions were to be dropped today, the friendly government of Iraq would just decide to award the oil contracts to American corporations and the Iraqi population would be oh so happy with that because they for they so love the Americans. If that was the case we don't need to invade.......just drop the sanctions. Really.....
