OTOT
Please. That's ridiculous. No one sent the Jews to Palestine. In fact, the British tried to keep them out. Read your history books. The Jews ESCAPED to Palestine and purchased land there so they could escape the European and Russion pogroms. None of the Arab Palestinians at that time were forced off there land. There was actually a period of relative peace punctuated by Arab raids on Jewish farms and newly settled villages on land which was purchased by the Jews from the Arabs. When the Jews became more successful, they started teaching the local Arabs how to farm and build infrastracture such as sewage, schools, hospitals, houses. They even educated the Arabs. There actually was friendship between many Arabs and Jews. In addition, keep in mind this land called Palestine was a British Mandate. The British gave up the mandate by submitting to the will of the UN, in large part because they couldn't control the region and wanted to be rid of it. The UN findings were conclusive. The Jews needed a state to give them someplace where they wouldn't be persecuted. The Jews made it easy for the UN too, because they presented the UN with a democratically elected government. The British didn't make it easy for the Jews either. They gave up many of the forts and military installations to the Arabs and even participated in a great deal of betrayal against the Jews, even as they were withdrawing their troops from the area. The Arabs could have had their own country, but instead they focused on killing Jews, rather than building something for themselves.

It was only after a certain Mufti of Jerusalem and several of the surrounding lunatic Arab leaders decided that they were going to throw the Jews into the sea, that all the current back and forth warfare, brutalism, and atrocities began. But the history books are clear on one thing. The Arabs started it all with their persecution of the Jews. What's more, the Arabs started something they couldn't finish. Sure there have been atrocities on both sides and no one wishes those would continue. But the first step is for the Arabs to recognize the right of the Jews and all free people to EXIST. For some reason, the Arabs of the region believe that Jews don't have a right to exist, despite that Jewish claims to the region predate Arab claims by over 2 thousand years.

Also, something you obviously aren't aware of because you haven't read your history books is that the first mass emigration of the Palestinian Arabs out of Israel occurred voluntarily, because they didn't want to live near the Jews. Those were the first wave of Palestinian refugees. With all the Arab politicians support for the Palestinian terror against the Jews, the Palestinian Arabs figured they would have no problem emigrating to one of the surrounding Arab states. Unfortunately, their so called Arab allies didn't want them. So much for Arab solidarity.

You know that some of the most peace loving Arabs are Christian? You probably knew that, because these are the same Arabs that are murdered in Islamic countries all throughout the Middle East. There are plenty of Christian Arabs that live in peace with the Jews today in Israel. So that brings me back to my previous thesis. What is wrong with the Islamic religion that it inspires a culture that finds it difficult to get along with its neighbors? You should ask yourself some tough questions, MHA, because the delusions you and other Arabs are suffering will not lead to the end of the violence and a betterment of the Arab culture and religion.
