Jim, The Privateer issue # 460 notes that " On April 1 according to First Call, wall St analysts called for earnings/per/share growth of 30.3 % on the S&P 500. on, September 27 those same analysts estimated earnings for the third quarter at 8.5% " the-privateer.com It seems that the "recovery in the next half" is as elusive as ever but always " better than expected" Mike
