That is a yes and a no. I think that we were right to fight Germany ferociously, and to hang prominent war criminals. I also think we were right to "normalize" German as quickly as possible after the war, and to help it recover,and to treat it as an ally. We could have been very punitive with it, but there is a time for war, and a time for peace.......
