That depends what you mean by "abuse". There are people here who support certain kinds of abuse. There is nothing you could do or say to correct them or their abusive behavior. Dropping to their level does not teach them anything- and might even make them believe that their level is an appropriate level. It is always a mistake to throw out your principles because you are angry. If you do that, it becomes your problem, and your weakness, and it will generally be exploited, eventually.
