wstera,

Bill Mazeroski's home run in the 9th inning of game 7 of the 1960 World Series - the only World Series ended via a home run.

I think the 1993 Series (Blue Jays vs. Phils) also ended on Joe Carter's home run to win Game 6. Talk about an adult getting to live out a childhood dream.

How about Carlton Fisk's HR to win Game 6 of the '75 Series for the BoSox? The lost the following night, but that moment was pretty incredible too.

As a life-long SF Giants fan, I still think someone should have checked Kirk Gibson's bat after his flick-of-the-wrist, half swing HR left the park. <VBG>
