Live a life of "Papal Infallibility"? Hahaahaha!! There's more to life than a transient economic boost [I'm not sure that average incomes in Ireland are higher than Britain anyway - I suppose I could check]. Ireland has improved since their bleak days, but that hardly makes them a citadel of freedom, peace, light, harmony, love and happiness.

I think I'd rather stay part of Britain than fall under the sway of murderous criminal thugs like Gerry Adams and his Omagh sidekicks. That would be like being a turkey voting for Thanksgiving. When he's been dead and buried for a decade or two, it might be time to consider association with Ireland. Anyway, why do they call themselves "Ire" land. Ire being anger and stuff. Not very tempting.

Maybe persuasion would work, but until the smoke has cleared, and persuasion on the basis of mindshare rather than bombing is the method, I can't imagine the Northern Irish signing up to join the IRA.

When people use viciousness as their persuasive technique, it's not surprising that their victims decide they are not ideal leaders to follow. Gerry Adams and sidekicks can go to their graves with no success and until that has happened, I doubt there'll be a change. Victims of their murderous ways aren't going to support them.

The ceasefire is needed by the IRA and criminal associates. The protestants won't be attacking if the criminal Matrix of Malevolence IRA get something useful to do with their lives. In the same way, the ceasefire is needed not by the USA, but by Osama's Moslem Matrix of Malevolence.

PS: <The protestants in Northern Ireland (just as bad terrorists > Oh, is that right? So, where was the Protestant equivalent of Omagh? How about the Brighton bombing? Mountbatten? Tower of London family of New Zealanders? The IRA have murdered heaps of people.
