Barrick Gold disappoints. Funny that. Profit down 43% or some such rubbish. Not much exposure to rising gold prices and massive derivative exposure. What happened to the "bomb proof, premium hedge strategy".... wait for the corporate bond losses they have, as they chased down the credit curve hunting some fatter contango. Enron bonds arent worth much! More later.
