Young,

I've been following Iomega for years. I was one of those who turned a significant profit early in the game, only to watch in amazement as the stock continued to rocket. For quite some time I believed the stock was overvalued. I eventually turned bullish at the time of the PCExpo when so many positive announcements were made. At that time, I felt the OEM agreements and increasing sales unit volume, coupled with the fall of Syquest and the lower IOMG stock price, had finally outweighed my ongoing concerns regarding the LS120 and the general Wall Street opinion that Iomega was "not for real." I bit the bullet and went long.

One of my two remaining concerns was resolved when I recently became convinced that the LS120 was no longer a threat. Although, I still think that backward compatibility is an issue, I no longer believe that the LS120 is the solution. Iomega has now sold too many ZIPs and the LS120 is still a high priced no-show.

My final concern was resolved when earnings were announced this evening. Iomega has now proved it has the correct numbers to be viewed as a legitimate mainstream Wall Street high-tech growth stock. More analysts will begin following the stock. More positive articles will be written. More institutions will add shares to their portfolios. Hopefully the stock will stabilize in a normal growth trend with reasonable spurts on earnings surprises and press releases.

Today I am more positive than ever, I have nothing left to worry about. I believe the word on the Street tomorrow will also be positive.

Dale
