Dude. I remember once a Herzog broker...(this was over 10 yrs ago now)....told me..."We make markets in over 7000 thousand stocks and you don't want to go trade with E-Trade because they are a bunch of Neandrathals .....We *are* the market makers, you know."

I'll never forget that...

So what do they do....they kill Etrade....they downplay Datek...they kill the SOES after abusing it....they get rid of the kiddy account bashers who have 25 small accounts and playing havoc on the electronic system....they put in margin requirements on the way down...reinstate them at the bottom....put in 25K accounts limits to limit the short abusers....

I dunno' dude...the system is just twisted...It's all really twisted...

they tell you it's about option put call ratios...it's not about that at all...it might be related to the dollars flowing in and out of that...but the ratios'....they mean absolutely nothing....You wanna' print paper...go take a gander at microsoft...go take a gander at IBM...find the money flow from one employee underfunded slush fund to another....follow the flow of money...i bet you can't even find it....

but while i'm at it...which is worse....having that woman....Martha sell 4 thousand shares...or have the vice president play accounting games...or have the president sell 800 thousand dollars to buy the texas rangers...I'm thinking martha should have bought a baseball team and they would have left her alone....
