.. it's difficult for me to take seriously someone who has written an encomium titled "The Life and Words of Robert Welch"

I've only glanced at this site..

jbs.org

but yes, I'm OK with Griffins "Jeckle Island" book. It is at least an entertaining book to read, and you must admit, most books on the Fed are far from that. Griffin is also trying to get the normal guy in the street interested in the theory and practice on our financial systems. I think he does a very good job of that. The basics of money and financial history are explained well.

Griffin quickly comes across as an American patriot who has the old fashioned mistrust of outsiders and big government and banks. He reminds me of La Rouche for some reason. I only found about La Rouche after reading a bunch of anti British stuff in a USA farmers almanac. Being intrigued, and following back the source of information, I found his party. Him and Bush senior look as if they were made for each other.

Robert Welsh strikes me as a similar patriot American from the few seconds I read about him. No surprise that Griffin would take an interest. So the KKK did too? Well, I'm sure they looked around for some guys to cling to and try and get some influence. That does not necessarily trash a guys reputation, even though I'm appalled by their actions. Any serious link of Griffin to those guys and he's outta here.

Regarding the commies in WW2. There was some STRANGE goings on in the USA. This lend lease list of materials has some weird stuff in it. A couple of comments about communists in government too.

They sure did exist in this country too.

That's my first impression, but thankyou for your comment. I'm most interested in any other thoughts you have on the matter.
