maybe the problem is that you are looking at generalities, and I am talking specifics. There are plenty of stocks, especially on the NYSE (housing?) that I agree could be overvalued. I'm not looking for overvalued stocks, but I'm sure they are there. The naz is another matter- the bears think were done, kaput, the growth is over for technology (5 years is an eternity in tech). Consequently companies like peoplesoft are trading for a P/S of less than 2- lower than they have ever traded for including 1992 and 1994.
