Who cares what Belafonte thinks? Unlike, say, Anne Coulter or Rush, nobody of any persuasion pays much attention to his views. Sullivan setting him up as a "representative" liberal is just another bogus straw man argument, the kind that local lecturers on logic are totally addicted to. You can attack him all you want here, and he won't respond. You can attack Arabs and Muslims all you want here, and hardly anybody will respond to that, either. You think some kinds of bigotry are better that others? That's your business. You lecturing on bigotry is about as amusing as Nadine's lectures on sneering and sarcasm.

To make it perfectly clear to your subtle and nuanced intellect, if you want to lecture on bigotry, you ought not be so dedicated to exhibiting it at every opportunity yourself.
