Hi, Wolf -
"So while I give her a D for communication, I also give her an A for perseverance in continuing to fight through the quagmire of international groups of regulators to get a lotion through that most reasonable people will agree is not a threat..."
I want to take that comment, and put it in the context of the "dialogue" about DMX and its prospects.
While it's true that the company itself has been a failure at communication, there is no doubt that the essential facts, about WF10 and Pennsaid (and their concurrent difficulties) have been communicated on the chat boards, by those posters who have done their research and do understand the situation.
Into this group, I would place the following posters:
di7026, Mark, yourself, Joe, alessard, myself, and more recently, CaptainKlutz.
Many others have made periodic posts of great value, in which group I include FurnitureMan's recent AGM sysnopsis.
I don't care who objects to this categorization - the simple fact is that the contribution in factual DD by these posters exceeds everyone else. And none of them has ever posted that the eventual success if DMX is a certainty. None.
In the last week, I've received three panicky PMs about the patent question, and one about WF10.
They all relate to information that has been posted on, ad nauseaum. The facts are already out there.
Don't these people take notes? Don't they read back through the old posts? Do they think that knowledge comes free? You have to work for it. At the very least, these posters could read the posts of those who have done the work.
I submit that a poster who can't tell the difference between those who have done their research, and those who haven't is incapable of deciding what the realities are for DMX. If a poster can't tell a fact from a lie, if he can't distinguish between logical and illogical posts, then there's no hope.
Stockhouse is populated with the same crowd of spammers, whose negative and deceptive posts outnumber the "positives", at a guess, by 10 to 1. It amounts to basher spam. Recently, we've had the intrusion of one of them onto this thread - who is a known liar, as posted by others on both threads - the anonymous "russett".
The old saying is "The squeaky wheel gets the grease".
The fact is, as revealed by the survey, that 2/3 of DMX investors "get it". They understand the difficulties, they understand the problems, and they would buy more DMX, if given the opportunity at a certain price.
Sincere negative views are always welcome. I note the recent post by "Industryvet", an honest short-seller, who commented on his position, and his reasons. Short-selling is a position just as acceptable a being long, IMO, and I thank him for his post, and his up-front declaration.
So despite the continuous bashing campaign, which has attempted to spread to this thread, despite the continuous distortion, manipulation and the constant battering of negativity - most DMX investors understand.
Does that mean there are no issues? No. Does that mean that DMX is a guaranteed success? No.
It means that by and large, the bashers are the only ones who attribute any importance to their own posts. They are drinking their own bathwater.
