It is terrible any of the hostages had to die. And you are right "the touchy feelies with 20-20 hindsight are lining up"...Totally FORGETTING that between 750-1000 (have seen those numbers and everything in between as to the number of hostages) ....anyhow 750+ hostages were being held, without food, water for 56+ hours, and totally stressed and frightened, as the terrorists had wired themselves, and the entire building with bombs, and saying everyone would be blown up if their demands weren't met.

Personally, if it ever comes to that, I'd rather take my chances with the sleeping gas, rather than a group of terrorists who control bombs and would blow up my family, friends and neighbors, as well as myself, to bits.
