Chamberlain did a great job. He followed the will of the electorate. He was a hero.

If he had not done his best for peace, I doubt the war would have been fought with such resolution by the British Nation. There were loads of defeats standing alone against the onslaught during the first two years. You know, while the USA stood out of it. Do you imagine for a minute the peace nicks would have just stood by while all that was going on?????
