"But Rutherford never got anything going in the second half, until the final drive, finishing 20-of-38 for 201 yards and running for a team-high 73 yards. St. Pierre was 18-of-34 for 179 yards."
Pitt held the Eagles to fewer points than we did and the Eagles did not score as much on Pitt as they did on us. If you add all that up we are in for a hard fought game. Will the young Hokies rise to the challenge. Rutherford had total offense of 274 yards. So you stop Rutherford and you beat Pitt..but how do you stop him? Apparently BC did adjust in the second half to slow him down. I think that preparation and coaching win this one for us. We need a game plan!
