NOVANET selects Geac's GeoWeb
MARKHAM, ONTARIO--Geac Computer Corporation Limited is pleased to announce that NOVANET Inc. in Halifax, Nova Scotia has signed an agreement with Geac Canada Limited to purchase Geac's GeoWeb software on a DEC Alpha Server. The agreement follows an extensive review process that included a structured comparison of the GeoWeb product against the competition. Geac will provide an unlimited access GeoWeb software licence for the Novanet student and staff population running on a DEC Alpha 800 server positioned initially for support of up to 50 simultaneous accesses.
