Poet Software Adds Hewlett-Packard Solutions Delivery (HPSD) As Japanese Reseller

Under the terms of the agreement, HPSD will sell Poet's industry-proven catalog management solutions as a value-added part of their eProcurement offerings in the Japanese market. HPSD will showcase Poet's solutions at the Ariba LIVE 2002 Tokyo Conference that will be held at the Hotel New Otani in Tokyo from Oct 29-30, 2002.
Founded in 1999, HPSD is a joint venture between Hewlett-Packard Company (HP), Marubeni Corporation and Hitachi Software Engineering, Co., Ltd. As one of HP's strategic business divisions HPSD is responsible for solutions business for HP in Japan. The company works closely with Hewlett-Packard Japan Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of HP, in achieving their business goals.
