Short interest goes over 4M, increasing by 220K. Days to cover at 16.
A modern day bet..... they believe that 607 and 67 are not only worthless, but that they'll drain resources from the 4-5 NCEs (including T487) due in clinic by the end of 2004.

I get mail.

I want to be clear about my position. My investment thesis has never changed. It's cost me one enormous pile of cash in the past year, but it's never changed.

Enormous value can be inherent in patents and research infrastructures. Tularik, **without 607, 67, and cash** is still worth one heck of a lot more, IMO, than the current market cap.

This sort of investment thesis is, of course, very unpopular.

But the "modern day bet" makes no more sense to me today than it ever has.
