OT: When will there be videocameras Has to do with data write rate & file size. One minute of uncompressed video is somewhere around .5 - 1.5 Gb depending on the subject. miniDigital uses minmal compression but even with that the write rate is pretty huge and a miniDV tape can hold far more than a DVD. It may happen. However non rotating memory like compact flash is getting to the point where it can hold a heck of a lot of data. Who knows who will win?
