Since I've been working, I have lost touch with Maria B. on CNBS. I had mellowed and considered my previous opinion of her as a zombie cheerleader to be unfair and discourteous. However, I watched her this morning just gushing when futures were up and telling us all the reasons why the market had to go higher. O.K., perhaps she just has a bubbly personality. Then, this afternoon, as stocks declined, she acted like somebody had run over her dog. And now I think my previous opinion was way too weak.
