The phrase deals with "without a license". Also Xoma has already stated that it has a beef with about 6 phage display companies. I do not know if Xoma has a case or not, just supporting the concept that all the companies indicated by an * or by name are in the same boat, as far as Xoma is concerned. One could say, ask Xoma if it is of such great interest. I could only reply that, I hope Xoma's case is stronger than the prospects of receiving a meaningful reply.
