The ban is completely illogical.
The government is so narrow-minded and backward compared to the economic achievements. They are just trying to reduce outflow of dollars due to the royalties.
IMO, the policy does not have a lasting power since without the subsidy the government is taking away from the poor the affordability to communicate. This deepends the digital divide. It's ultimately the people that end up losing.
