I like the way the market is acting. First time in a long time I've been able to say that.
European markets were strong again today. SAP and NOK have bounced. German banks have been on a tear.
The tone of Barron's has changed. They're now asking people "What's new?" instead of "Where can we hide?"
Bush's popularity surprises me, given everything that has happened. But the Democrats increasingly seem stuck in the past, rolling out old war horses in New Jersey and Minnesota in these tight Senate races.
It's all a side show anyway, to me.
Barron's still slips in that word "broadband" quite a bit, which I equate with BRCM and INTC.
Hmmm. Are they stuck in the past, or thinking about the future?
We'll see.
