I'm not saying that the attack on the WTC was justified by our historical and current presence in the middle east. But I think the hostility is fully justified, and I suspect that if the roles were reversed and I were a university educated Muslim born and educated in the Middle East I might feel very much the same way. And so, I think, might you.
