<<If Nextel continues to add 400,000 to 500,000 customers per quarter over the next 18 months >>
So, you are anticipating 3 million new subscribers over the next 18 months....could be very doable, but be weary considering you know there will be a rollout from the competition of similar technology for less money....I think price wars in this sector are pretty much a gimmee down the road...but hey, like I said, I like NXTL, I just think the current valuation is high and would be careful...but best of luck to you...I do think NXDTL will survive and prosper and you will be fine....But I dont know what will happen in the interim.....NXTL held up remarkably well during a rough market...a good sign....but also lots of folks are sitting on hefty gains and if it looks like she wont hold $10, and if market corrects in a major way, there could be alot of selling.....I bought in the $3's and got out with a nice gain of over 100%...IF I were still holding NXTL, I would have a stop loss set at no lower then $9.50, just to protect those profits....and no, I would not buy now, after a nice run by the markets and a nice run by NXTL....I will either let it go higher without me, or wait for a pullback...there are very few stocks nowadays that just go up and up and up...many see nice gains, but are quick to retrace at least part of those gains....earnings are out...good news is out.....I dont see people rushing to buy or rushing to cover, driving nxtl higher right now...what I see is the stock consolidating and figuring out which way it wants to go....up, or back down to re-trace some of it's recent gains....I think the pop from $7's to $10's was simply folks knew nxtl would have a decent report with good guidance...but now that news is out....what is next to drive this to $20 or $30? and why, after a good report and good news is she not making another big jump? Maybe, just maybe, it had it's big jump already, and maybe it has further to go......as a Bull at heart, I hope she goes higher for all the longs sake...the quicker we drive the bear out of the woods, the better off we all will be.......good luck..... |
