I believe I remember a case on the ask God thread a couple of years ago where a man was involved in a dispute with his ex and a new wife (or girlfriend) and that this occurred. I won't insist on it because it is rather vague.

Anyway, it is really off point. There are many offenses which may take place between people, and there are many remedies. We have seen injunctions here preventing certain posters from posting about certain stocks on certain threads, and so forth. And I am sure there is much we have not seen, confined as we are to a miniscule aquaintance with internet intercourse.

The point is that people can do harm in all mediums. I believe you yourself have claimed that you were being harmed, or had reason to believe you might be harmed in an email forum or something like that. Of course, sinister conversation can be very suggestive to anyone who has shared personal information and demographic data with someone--especially if you fear the person is one of millions of very sick individuals in the world. For instance Tim knows where Neocon lives. If Tim were to start posting strangely and with a suggestive and hostile edge; or obsessively...and following Neo to other sites...then Neo might well seek to use peer pressure to break free from that, or he might resort to legal action against the person using the alias Tim.
