as a matter of fact i think this is why the US economy may fall harder and faster than most would think as the tech boom throughout the nineties masked an enormous amount of inefficencies in the fiat system. There was very little adjustment room for other US industries and people basically said tough luck. With tech in the dumps the US is left with very little competative strength in any given area to help pull them out from under. As a matter of fact the US gets its a__ whipped in most every other industry.
