"At the very least, these posters could read the posts of those who have done the work."

Your contention: "Jim, this last post of yours is so very wrong."
"Allow me to paraphrase your sentence to show how ludicrous it is:"
"...it appears that you are losing sight of the forest. Take off the green cloak, put down the bow & arrow and step away from the trees for a day or two."
Right off the bat, I'm wrong, making ludicrous statements, and incapable of separating the forest from the trees.
Now I'm getting invitations to "be civil"?

Your view:
"News flash: People are lazy. They like their information pre-packaged & easy to consume, hence my remark about the minutae of a company's products (and the lack of investor interest in said minutae)."
You mean they like their information spoon-fed, like this?
stockhouse.ca
stockhouse.ca
stockhouse.ca
stockhouse.ca
Because that is precisely what the posters to whom I was referring have given them.
You say that is what people want.
I say no: that is what they have been given - and many of them ignore it. It goes beyond laziness - to the point of willful avoidance. When they post, the authority for their comments is the sanctity of ignorant opinion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I find your comments interesting: wildly illogical, patronizing, insulting, and intellectually dishonest.
Whatever peculiarity motivates this behaviour can continue without my presenc: don't let my absence stop you.
I see no point in continuing this exercise. Please allow me to give you the last word; say whatever insulting and vacuous claptrap comes into your mind - and I will give it all the attention it deserves, without response.
The floor is yours. Enjoy.
