Mish, I think I have this straight from CNBS this morning: if consumer confidence came in better than expected, this market will rally. If it comes in worse than expected, then Greenscam has to cut rates, so this market will rally. Man, this stuff is just so logical. The economy sucks, bit time, so we have to cut rates. Which means stocks at somewhere between 31 and 48 times eps (S&P 500 with the options and pension ignored or with them counted) are huge bargains, especially with high debt and no growth.
