>> Saddam is likely to be uncontainable once he has nukes <<

israel bombed the osiraq reactor back in '81 under the guise of protecting against nukes, what makes you think israel or iran would allow saddam to gain access to nukes again? the simple fact is, the united states has no business policing the middle east for israel's benefit. israel and iran are quite capable of keeping saddam in check. obviously israel doesn't want to take out saddam themselves. it is in their interest to inflame world resentment against the united states instead, and israel has a vested interest in alienating the united states from the arab world. a naked invasion of iraq would do just that.

quit playing games and tell the truth, will you? anyone who has a basic understanding of the situation understand that israel benefits from dragging the united states into a war of civilizations, with israel and the u.s. on one side against the rest of the world. israel wants to eliminate its arab enemies one by one, and the best way to do that is to get their lackeys in the states to use american military power to do the job.
