Twenty years. Mondale is 74. Minnesota is moving fast to become a part of the middle-western states that back Republicans by large percentages. 18 years ago he won Minnesota by 2%. Today he is running away from a Democrat party that just punched those good people in the gut on TV, making a mockery of their deceased senator. Only someone like Bill Clinton is capable of ignoring the shame he has brought to people like these, whom he finds thoroughly incomprehensible...
