That cuts both ways. Maybe Poet, jla, laz, etc. should just try moving on, and see what happens.
If they really want a peaceful resolution of this situation, it's there waiting for them.
If they don't take it, that's evidence that they don't want a peaceful resolution of the situation.
(Lest you think of turning that around, I will say at once that I really don't care that much whether Poet, Laz, or jla get over it or not. It would make things a lot nicer for other people here (though X would regret the loss of a topic which brings so many interesting posts), but I am happy enough just disregarding their barbs and enjoying the positive discussions I have here, just occasionally feeling a bit of sadness for them that they are so wedded to hate and living in the past that they seem incapable of moving on. But that's their problem, not mine. If they like wallowing in hatred, who am I do deny them their pleasures?) |
