Re: A few weeks ago, after one such rally in NYC, I got stuck in a huge traffic jam of SUV's of hypocrites with their "no war for oil" placards. Hypocrites?!? Chill out... They're "pacifist dupes" at best. I agree with you that the war is not about oil, nor is it about Iraq's elusive WMD... The war is all about jackboot Israel and her foolish claim on East Jerusalem. But then again, as I've said, how many Yanks are ready to die for (East) Jerusalem?? () Hence the current media bamboozling: Americans are told that they're gonna fight either to save the free world (the rightist spin) or to save their gas-guzzling American-Way-of-Life (the leftist spin).
